Our history

How it began

In 2004, we approached Walmart with an idea that would better connect brands, retailers and customers online. At the heart of the pitch was the concept of turning into a publisher to attract new brand ad dollars, drive up their online conversion rates and add new profits to their e-commerce business. Intrigued, Walmart decided to give this new way of online advertising a shot — and so Triad was born.

Sherry Smith

Sherry Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed to the position of CEO in 2017, Sherry Smith oversees all facets of Triad Retail Media’s business, including the evolution of its capabilities and services, continued growth and leading a multi-functional team. Sherry’s 20+ years of experience within the advertising industry, both in the traditional and digital realms, resulted in revenue-driven solutions for the world’s top brands and retailers. Her proven executive management track record continues to be an asset in building client partnerships and executing innovative, custom strategies for Triad’s retail partners such as, Sam’s Club, CVS, Dollar General, Kohl’s and more.

Sherry has been with Triad Retail Media since 2007. She has been instrumental in developing sales teams in key markets, including New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Bentonville. Before joining Triad, Sherry was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Mass Connections, where she led the development of in-store events for retailers such as Walmart, Target, King Soopers and Food 4 Less. She worked closely with global brands such as General Mills, Nestlé and Diageo to launch national in-store and outdoor event campaigns.

Sherry holds a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications from California State University, Fullerton. Her personal passions include running, reading, going to concerts and mentoring young professionals. She resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband, daughter and son.

Davis Haase

David Haase

Chief Development Officer

David Haase oversees all business and product development, driving key growth for Triad Retail Media. He identifies new partnership opportunities within the retail industry and within the WPP network, building relationships and strategies to transform the digital retail marketplace. David also leads the planning, creation and launch of all new innovative networks and products to better connect retailers and brands with shoppers in their purchasing journey, including Triad Mobile Media, Shelf Help and the Commerce Video Network. He joined Triad in 2006, serving as VP of Client Development, then President of the agency’s eBay business before entering his current role. His advertising background includes years of direct brand experience working with MARS Advertising, Kraft Foods and Nabisco.

Debbie Schreiner

Debbie Schreiner

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Debbie Schreiner is responsible for leading the company’s financial, legal and procurement departments. She also serves as a key advisor for many of the company’s growth initiatives with the objective to help build new streams of revenue, cultivate existing business and explore new and profitable partnerships.

Debbie joined Triad in April 2017 as interim lead for finance, legal and procurement. She came to the company from Xaxis, where she served as Vice President of Financial Strategy & Business Intelligence and played an integral role in Xaxis’ acquisition of Triad in 2016. Previously, she served as Vice President & Controller at 24/7 Media Inc., where she was responsible for managing the global consolidation, as well as the financial operations of the U.S., Canada and Australia operating units. Debbie has also held various senior management positions within broadcast media–related companies and began her professional career at Deloitte as part of the audit practice.

Bernie Van Osdal

Executive Vice President, Sales Center of Excellence

Bernadette Van Osdal joined Triad Retail Media in 2008 and currently serves as EVP, Sales Center of Excellence. In this role, she focuses on sales-lead systems, processes and platforms, as well as creating and fostering talent through hiring, training, certification and career-pathing programs. In addition, Bernie is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the sales and onboarding processes are universally structured across the organization, enabling greater efficiencies.

Previously, Bernie developed and led the Strategic Partnership Team that represented Triad’s cross-publisher offering to senior leads across the industry’s top holding companies. She also launched the eBay Advertising platform, while leading that publisher’s sales efforts for six years. Prior to introducing online retail media to the national landscape in 2009, Bernie spent more than 20 years in the broadcast industry at leading companies such as Cox Communications, Pyramid and Marlin Broadcasting groups.

She holds a bachelor’s of business administration in marketing and management from Northwood University and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with her husband, Mark. Her personal passions include hiking, mountain biking and spending time at her log cabin in Western North Carolina.

Davis Haase

Joe Henson

Senior Vice President, Products & Platform

Joe Henson joined Triad Retail Media in 2017 and currently serves as SVP, Products & Platform. In this role, he is responsible for driving the company’s product strategy and leading the development, implementation and deployment of Triad’s proprietary platforms, while overseeing the evaluation and assembly of top-notch partnerships.

Prior to joining Triad, Joe most recently was Group VP of Product Platform and Technology at Catalina Marketing, where he built global platform strategies to grow value for the company’s clients. In this role, he served as a conduit between technology, analytics, sales, product management and media operations to synergize core functions across the organization. Before that, Joe held various senior-management positions within the technology industry, including at Q Interactive and Baxter, where he began his professional career.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from Western Illinois University. He currently resides in the Tampa Bay area.

Amy Dragland-Johnson

Senior Vice President, Client Relations

Amy Dragland-Johnson joined Triad in 2018 as SVP, Client Relations. In this role, she serves as the primary client contact for Triad’s Walmart publisher account, leveraging more than 20 years of industry experience to gain an in-depth understanding of its multi-channel online media priorities and business strategies. She also identifies and drives continuous operational efficiencies that enable scalability and increased profitability.

Prior to being named to her current role, Amy was responsible for the strategic leadership of SC Johnson’s North America Shopper Marketing and Consumer Promotions, and Integrated Marketing functions, across all North American retailers. Throughout the past decade, she has overseen “best of class” shopper marketing strategic programming and has led award-winning sales and shopper teams – fostering the development of a common marketing vision for multiple retailer and customer audiences.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management and communication studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, and a master’s in business administration from The University of St. Thomas. She currently resides in Minneapolis, MN, with her husband, Bo, and their Maine Coon cat, Lecco. Her personal interests include traveling, reading and going to concerts.

Tim Bagwell

Tim Bagwell

Senior Vice President, Operations

As SVP, Operations, Tim Bagwell leads Triad’s Account Management, Ad Operations, Project Management, Programmatic, Creative and Analytics business units. Working with the senior leaders on each team, Tim is focused on creating, evaluating and optimizing platforms, processes, cross-functional productivity and organizational communication. Additionally, he is responsible for setting and evaluating organizational goals to help support Triad’s continuous growth and business objectives.

Tim joined Triad in 2018 from Xaxis, where he served as Senior Vice President of Ad Labs and West Coast Accounts. As Ad Labs SVP, he led a group of creatives, developers and producers that assisted GroupM and direct clients with creative services and audience based creative personalization. As SVP of West Coast Accounts, Tim steered a team of account managers and strategists that helped both GroupM and direct clients leverage the power of Xaxis’s audience-buying technologies to drive brand and performance results. Before that, he held positions at 24/7 Real Media and Panache, where he provided white-labeled services to premier publishers including Viacom, Fox Networks, Channel 4 UK and others.

Tim holds a juris doctor degree with a focus in intellectual property from Seattle University School of Law, a master’s degree in theology from Southwestern Divinity School and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from North Georgia College and State University. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Pearl, and their five children.

Robin Corralez

Robin Corralez

Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Talent

Triad Retail Media appointed Robin Corralez to the position of SVP, Human Resources & Talent, in 2018. To this position, she brings more than 20 years of experience in the human resources field, specializing in all employee-related functions of the organization. Her focus is on building & aligning great teams that are excited to come to work every day. She does this by leveraging her strengths in talent & organizational development, recruitment and staffing, performance management, and compensation and benefits.

Before joining Triad, Robin served as a human resources executive for Razorfish Health, a global agency specializing in healthcare marketing and advertising. Throughout her career as a human resources professional, she has also led efforts across diverse organizations of varying sizes, spanning both service and manufacturing environments. Prior to Razorfish, Robin served as Vice President of Human Resources at Vertis Communications, a leading provider of advertising and marketing solutions servicing the nation’s top retail and consumer products companies with 5,200 employees across 100 locations including the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, as well as a Black Belt certification in Lean & Continuous Improvement, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in industrial and organizational psychology from Purdue University.

Robin Corralez

Garrett Albanese

Vice President, Corporate Marketing

Garrett joined Triad Retail Media in 2018 and currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Marketing. In this role, he is responsible for leading the organization’s overall brand positioning, communications strategy and go-to-market approach for new products and services. Garrett brings over 15 years of media experience to Triad, having held various leadership positions across agency, technology and publishing companies. Prior to joining Triad, he worked across a roster of blue chip clients including Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

He most recently served as Vice President of Brand Strategy & Innovation for POPSUGAR, where he strategically oversaw their in-house creative agency and digital innovation team. In this role, Garrett led a team of brand strategists and content creators who were focused on delivering custom integrated marketing solutions for over 150 advertising partners. In addition, he was responsible for driving the company’s B2B go-to-market strategy which resulted in an accelerated revenue growth of more than 30 percent.

Garrett holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Hofstra University. His passions include cooking, traveling and spending time with his family. He currently resides in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, by way of New York.
